Olympic Lifting

This class is specifically designed for people interested in a less-intense, crossfit –style workout without any heavy weight. You will be coached in appropriate movement mechanics and we will modify the workout to your individual needs. A great workout for anyone from a first-timer to a seasoned athlete.

At Crossfit Mt Hood we run an Olympic lifting program separate from our regular crossfit classes. The program runs for 6 weeks every 10 weeks. It focuses on the Clean and Jerk and the Snatch. The class gets progressively more challenging and technical. 

This class is for all levels and abilities. Olympic lifting is great for developing strength, power and body control. It’s also a hell of a lot of fun!!!
