Foundations

The first thing you will discover about CrossFit is that it does not discriminate. One of the many things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people come from every walk of life, whether it be stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, members of the armed services, police and firefighters, you name it. CrossFit is designed for everyone. Our bodies come in every size, shape and age; yet our workouts every day are designed for anyone to do them.

During each class, everyone does the same workout, but that workout will always have several scaling options. This makes it possible for all of us with our different body types, personal goals and levels of ability to work alongside one another safely. We motivate one another and cheer one another on. But, ultimately, every workout is yours alone. Your workout is done at your own pace with your own scaled or modified movements.

Foundations provides people new to CrossFit with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular classes. After completion of this course you will be on our regular unlimited monthly rate. Our Foundation classes must be completed before entering regular classes. These sessions must be scheduled ahead of time. We ask for 24 hours notice if you can not make a scheduled class. Please call or come in to schedule your sessions. If you are already familiar with CrossFit methodologies and have trained in another certified location please contact our office for further instructions.
